Who we are

LelongCentral (lelongcentral.com) publishes bank and court auction listings from across Malaysia, alongside the legal facts stated in the public notices for those sales. You can reach us at owaolookadat@gmail.com.

What we collect from you

You can browse the whole site without an account. If you create one, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google — that is all Google sends us, and we never see your Google password. We keep a record of which properties you unlock, so we can tell what the site is actually useful for.

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. There is no advertising network on this site and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Why property owners are named

Auction listings on this site come from public sources: court Proclamations of Sale published through the e-Lelong system, and auction notices published by banks. Those notices are public documents, and some of them name the registered owner of the property.

We treat that as sensitive. Owner names, case numbers, title and lot numbers, and any restrictions, encumbrances or caveats are only shown to signed-in readers, and are excluded from search engine results. We do not add anything the original notice did not state.

If your name appears on this site and you want it removed, email us at the address above with a link to the listing. We will remove it, and we do not require you to explain why.

Your rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Email us and we will action it. Deleting your account removes your email, name and picture from our records.

Where your data is held

Our database and sign-in are operated by Supabase, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both may process data on servers outside Malaysia. We keep account data for as long as your account exists.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
